If you only need a Unix-style package manager for things like coreutils, nodejs, tmux, irssi, vim, etc, pkgsrc runs on OS X and installs to /opt/pkg. There is no Google Chrome, or fonts, etc in it though, so if you enjoy installing those from Homebrew then this is not for you.
