University of Washington - Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, Seattle, WA
Looking for a sysadmin with strong Linux background, bash scripting, automation, configuration management and orchestration (we use a combination of Salt, Puppet, Cobbler). We'd prefer candidates with layer 2 switching knowledge (Our environment is mostly 40GbE and 10GbE and a mix of Mellanox and Juniper gear). We've got some Univa Grid Engine, Hadoop and ~400 compute nodes and ~250 VMs.
IHME is a pretty cool place to work, as we help guide public health policy through research and visualizations of our data.
