Looking back, Apple seems to have had 3 major product materials: beige plastic, white plastic and aluminum.

I wonder what’s next.



Apple used to make their laptops out of Titanium, which is lighter than aluminium. I wonder if they could ever go back to it. Maybe they'll make a super high end "MacBook Pro Pro" :P


It didn't last very long. Besides price, paint wouldn't adhere to the surface for long.

Which was a shame, I always found the bare titanium to have a distinctive look.
